This is an Irish Session

An Irish session is a gathering of musicians playing traditional Irish music with traditional Irish instruments, such as fiddles, flutes, tin whistles, accordions, banjos, guitars, and bodhráns (Irish drums). It is an informal setting and there’s usually a lot of improvisation. Listeners are also an important part of the session. They provide an appreciative audience and sometimes join in with clapping, tapping their feet to the rhythm, or even singing along if the mood strikes.
Its not just about the music but also about the sense of community and camaraderie that comes from sharing a love for traditional Irish music with others.
